St John’s PTA is delighted to announce a generous £750 donation from local business Greenfield Engineering, which will go directly towards the school’s playground improvement project.

The Warrington-based company contacted the PTA after hearing about the school’s fundraising campaign to upgrade play equipment for younger pupils. The donation will help move the project a significant step closer to its fundraising target.

The PTA is currently raising funds to install new climbing and balance equipment for Key Stage 1, helping pupils develop coordination, confidence and active play during break times. The new equipment will also support the school’s commitment to encouraging healthy and active lifestyles.

A representative from Greenfield Engineering visited the school earlier this week to present the donation, meeting with PTA volunteers and staff. The company said it was pleased to support a local school and contribute to improving opportunities for children in the community.

The PTA would like to thank Greenfield Engineering for their generosity, as well as the wider school community for continuing to support fundraising events throughout the year.
